Welcome to John Keble CofE School
Thank you for taking an interest in our school. John Keble CofE School is a smaller than average sized primary school, on the edge of the city of Winchester. Set within the delightful village of Hursley, our school benefits from a strong relationship with the church, community and local businesses. Surrounded by fields and the Hursley Park Estate, our children enjoy plenty of outside space and a generous school building. Being part of a federation of two schools mean that we work in partnership with Ampfield CofE Primary School; sharing expertise, staff and resources.
We are a successful Church of England primary school with just over 200 children across seven classes. We are able to keep the 'small school' feel in a village setting that our parents and children enjoy but are within easy reach of Winchester, Otterbourne, Chandler's Ford, Hiltingbury, Eastleigh and the north of Southampton. Please contact the school office if you are interested in coming to visit or to make an application.
We have a very limited number of places so call the office to find out if we have a space for you. Ms Emma Hayman, our Senior Admin Officer, would be very pleased to give you a tour of the school. If we can't fit you in, we would be very pleased to share with you the hidden gem that is our sister school, Ampfield CofE Primary School; a small school with an 'Outstanding' Christian Distinctiveness (SIAMS January 2016) and 'Good' Ofsted inspection (Ofsted March 2014). Mrs Tracey Dobson would be happy to take your call on 01794 368219.
As a federation of two Church schools, supported by Hampshire County Council and the Diocese of Winchester, we are guided by our core Christian Values: Love, Forgiveness, Trust, Hope. We'd love it if you were able to take a look at our most recent Church Schools Inspection Report (known as a SIAMS Report).
