Welcome to John Keble CofE School
Thank you for taking an interest in our school. John Keble CofE School is an average-sized primary school, on the edge of the city of Winchester. Set within the small village of Hursley, our school benefits from a strong relationship with the church, community and local businesses.Surrounded by fields and the Hursley Park Estate, our children enjoy plenty of outside space and a generous school building. Being part of a federation of two schools mean that we work in partnership with Ampfield CofE Primary School; sharing expertise, staff and resources.
We are a successful Church of England primary school with almost 200 children over seven classes. We are able to keep the 'small school' feel in a village setting that our parents and children enjoy but are within easy reach of Winchester, Otterbourne, Chandler's Ford, Hiltingbury and Eastleigh. As we have just increased our Published Admission Number (the number of children we can admit to each year group) and with the building of an extra classroom, we have generated more spaces for children to join us. Please contact the school office if you are interested in coming to visit or to make an application.
We have a very limited number of places in some year groups so call the office to find out if we have a space for you. Ms Emma Hayman, our Senior Admin Officer, would be very pleased to give you a tour of the school.
As a Church school, supported by Hampshire County Council and the Diocese of Winchester & Portsmouth Education Team, we are guided by our core Christian Values: Love, Forgiveness, Trust, Hope. We'd love it if you were able to take a look at our most recent Church Schools Inspection Report (known as a SIAMS Report).
